Why We Built This Site
Missouri gives the public many ways to inspect court and government records, but Platte County records are not held by one office. The Circuit Clerk handles civil, criminal, domestic, juvenile, probate, traffic, and small claims case processing for the Circuit Court. The Recorder of Deeds handles marriage licenses and recorded property documents. The County Clerk keeps County Commission minutes and county legal documents. The sheriff manages custody, warrants, law-enforcement requests, and courthouse security.
Those office lines matter. A divorce decree goes to the Circuit Clerk, while a marriage license goes to the Recorder. A current inmate search goes to the sheriff, while the criminal case docket is searched through Case.net. The site is built around those local routing decisions.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of Platte County, the 6th Judicial Circuit, the Missouri Courts, the sheriff's office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:
- We cannot file pleadings, forms, or records requests for anyone
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, or sheriff records
- We cannot provide legal advice about a Platte County case or warrant
- We cannot guarantee that every office phone, fee, schedule, or URL remains current after publication
Only the originating court or government office can provide an official record, certified copy, seal, or current case-status answer.
Search Partners
Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies run their own tools, set their own pricing, and control their own result sets. If a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. Official Platte County and Missouri records still come from the court, clerk, sheriff, recorder, or state agency that holds the source record.
